Making friends....

People are moving in and out like crazy in our new neighborhood but today I was very happy with the people moving in next door. The man stopped me before I could go inside :) He introduced himself and said they were in the process of buying. He was very proper, "excuse me M'am, I'm wondering how you like the neighborhood, we're thinking of buying this home". He said "yes M'am" like a million times and was just very proper sounding, I knew he was military or from Utah. He was & is! Although they've been stations in Fort Bragg, NC. They are in their 30's and have 4 kids and they are MORMON! He asked if he could have his wife come over & ask about neighborhood & schools. When he shook my hand goodbye I felt like he might break it! Man he has some kind of professional military grip!! LOL We came in and 2 seconds later his wife was at the door. She is so cute and funny and nice! She was thrilled to have someone normal with kids AND mormon next door! We chatted for almost 1/2 an hour. Yeah!! I'm so excited to have a friend so close!! Her kids are 2-boy, 5-girl, 9-boy, 11-girl so our kids are opposite sex but almost same ages too! We will be together a lot I can tell already! I just loved them both, so nice and I can't wait for them to move in! They'll be back in 3 weeks to move in! :) So I'll have a friend next door & a friend at church!! ;)

Although with our new ward, we have 2 people from our 1st ward across town. 1 of which, Tara Bulow, is a great friend & I was very suprised to see them here. I had no idea they had also moved out here! They've already had us over once for FHE, so that was nice of them and lots of fun! The same week I started this ward another girl, Anna Marie (perez), and her family also moved in. She is from Panaca and we knew each other growing up! How funny!!
Being in the halls with a maniac 1 year old, I saw several people from the other ward who I know. Leavitts from our last ward & school (he was the librarian), Walkers- from Lincoln county, and a guy Travis that I was friends with in the singles ward right about the time I started dating Jonathan! :) So funny what a small world the "mormon world" is!
