More December

I've never met a baby who hated the car as much as Mya! She will fuss the second you get her in her seat and even if you can calm her down, it only lasts for 15-20 minutes- TOPS! So taking our 1st big drive with her was a scary thought. It was to Panaca, NV- my home town. A 2 1/2 hour drive. Well it turned into a 3 1/2 hours+ drive because of this little sad face!

Is that the saddest face ever?

The hardest part is, once she starts screaming there is NO calming her down in her seat. She gets sooooo worked up that she begins to sweat PROFUSELY and then she's crying because she's burning up. She gets a bad heat rash every time too! :( So every 1/2 hour or so depending on her desperate cries, we'll pull over to pull her out and let her cool down. She is soaked from head to toe! And SO worked up, it takes a good 10 minutes to get her calm. So weird!

This is after she's calmed down, but still sad. Don't you just love that desperate face that says, "please please don't put me back in that seat, pretty please?"

On to a happier subject: SANTA!

This is at the Opportunity Village's Magical Forest. Noah's class went for a field trip earlier this month. It really is a super fun, magical place!

Here we are on a train ride. They loved it!

And as for this......well Jonathan would KILL me for putting this on, but it is so funny to me.

Noah and Carlaya always get so silly at night. They think they are so funny to wear each other's pajamas! Funny for Carlaya- soooo inappropriate for Noah. Carlaya is no help- she loves to dress him up and egg him on! Jonathan was NOT pleased! LOL

Yup, that's our BOY. Or is it......?
