Sorry!

Most of you don't care- but some out there are patiently waiting for pictures of our new home. I finally gave up with Jonathan's busy work schedule and hung most of the pictures myself. My way of doing it? Eye-Ball it!! :) Obviously he needs to make a few adjustments and the pictures with dual-hooks need to be done by him, cause I couldn't do it even IF I measured it. :)

So I'm hoping he'll hang more this weekend and we'll get a few curtains hung as well. The house still looks a bit bare and unfinished, but hey we don't have enough stuff to fill it and the walls are all bright, boring white!

Christmas deco has cheered up the space a bit! Specially in the formal dinning room- which held my hope chest and that's it. Mainly because I hadn't decided where to put it and its too heavy to haul upstairs just because. I now have it covered in Jonathan's Nutcracker collection. I have set up a card table to display my glowing village of little houses, wrapped the banisters in green garland and lights, and of course put up my awesome tree!

Last year I went to Tai Pan in St. George, right after Christmas with my mother in law. I loved looking at all their "themed" trees throughout the store. I've always wanted a themed fancy tree. ;) I let her convince me to just DO IT~ :) We found the tree we liked best and then went on a hunt to find everything that was on it! I spent about $80+ but got tons of stuff.

I had to pack it away since Christmas was over. So last week when I pulled it out, it was like Christmas morning for me! I just kept squealing and giggling. I think I called Jonathan at work 3 times just to tell him how much I liked it and how good it was looking! ;) Ya know how your tree always looks it best when it is lite at night? Well, mine looks awesome lite, but looks just as good if not BETTER in broad daylight. I just LOVE IT!!!
