As I said in her new closet blog, Carlaya is getting to be quite into her looks. After she picked out her outfit and got dressed- herself, I begged to help her with her hair. (since it IS a school-day) Lately she even does her hair herself. Which is cute to watch, but not cute when it's done. She'll have random clips hanging in the back and maybe pinned back on one side. But I do give her props for trying. I didn't even try to do my own until about age 8! So I did a new hair style (to her) to win her permission for me doing it. Lets just say it was a hit!! All I did was part into pig-tails then braid it. But she just thought she was the cutest thing. Then I let her wear fluffy church socks with her shoes which really won her over. She stood on her stool in her bathroom and held each foot up looking at her cute legs, then turned from side to side looking at her cute hair. I just laughed!!! What am I creating?..............a real life Princess!! Trouble - that's what!
I had her stand in the hall so I could take a picture and suddenly she became a flippin' runway model. Sometimes I wonder where she gets her moves from!!

How nice. All of Maddie's clothes are hung up. Every day I have to get the clothes down that she chooses. Hunter has his clothes in a wanna be dresser but at least he can get his clothes out by himself. I'm so jealous. Every weekend Kory says this will be the weekend we do our closets and it never happens. He has all the material. He just needs to do it.
I love your little DIVA! She is so cute. At least she can pick out cloths that match! Girls are so much fun. Good Luck with that one when she grows up!

Oh my gosh, she is so cute! I think she's gotten bigger and older-looking just since we saw you guys what, last month? I love her little poses! You need to plan things out with Jonathan so we can come down and hang out with you guys in a couple of weeks. Bailey heard me talking to you about it and is already asking when we're going to go see Carlaya.
That's funny that she's already so worried about her clothes and hair and stuff. That's how Bailey's friend Emma is, too, from when she was like 2 years old. I still have to pick Bailey's clothes and stuff out every day. Her idea of matching is wearing pink from head to toe, which does NOT always work. The only thing she's worried about on a daily basis is making sure her panties match her pants, which drives me crazy. Yesterday I sent her in to put her gymnastics leotard on and caught her 5 minutes later going through her drawer looking for panties to match! Aargh!
PS love the closet. Come help me fix my house!
