Day 3

Today is Friday and we had a tour of Black River and YS Falls. Black River has approximately 500-600 crocidiles. We got to see several. Our tour guide was great. He brought along raw chicken meat to lure them upto the boat then while feeding with one hand he'd grab the croc's hand and let people touch it. Out of almost 50 (i think) tour guides on the river, he is one of 3 that actually dare to touch the crocs and he might be the only one daring enough to get into the river. He said in the day you be more lax, but at night he himself would never even dare feed them. He said in the day they are lazy, so he says if he says its safe you can trust him. He offered to let anyone get in to swim for a sec- just to say you did. Of course everyone laughed and said yeah right. I told Jonathan he should and he said OK! Aaaah, I was joking. The guide sensed his nervousness and said he'd get in too. So we all anxiously waited in the boat watching everywhere for crocidile eyes!! The guide said the crocs love white imported meat- just to get a rise out of Jonathan! Good times........at least he can said he did it! (others on the resort later saw jon and said- hey its the crocidile hunter)

Next we headed to YS Falls, It ws so beautiful there. Jonathan got to swing like Tarzan, and then we both got into the freezing water to swim up under the falls. We got some good pictures but you'll notice my top is quite low in several. I looked down once and it was at my waist! Ooops!
