Day 4

on the snorkle boat

before evening entertainment, we got a tropical smoothie from the bar

The start of the sunset............it just got more and more golden......my "fighter"

This morning after breakfast we headed out on a boat to go snorkling. I meant to buy a water proof camera before we left to take pictures of us but forgot. So us in our hidious lift jackets (that look like saggy boobs) heading back to the shore is all I got! :)

Almost all afternoon we spent relaxing in the pool. We'd float for a bit side by side holding hands, then we swim around for a while, I loved to tan in the lounge chairs 1/2 way into the water. That was really refreshing, but that was also the time I got the most burned- because I never really felt hot! Oops!

At lunch time, we just climbed out of the pool pulled on some clothes and just walked into "Bayside" resturant for a huge buffet lunch. The food is good EVERYWHERE here! Every resturant and every meal was so GREAT!! After yet another nap in our room, Jonathan headed to their gym to work out while I waiting in our pool downstairs. When he got back we swam together for a while. Tonight was probally the best sunset. I wished we'd gotten our pictures taken tonight because there was more of a golden color. The sunset was so great I wanted some pictures of Jonathan out on the "Sandals" raft floating in the ocean. So I made him get out of the pool and swim out to it. 1/2 way out, he turned around and came right back. He climbed out and told me something had stung him- a Jelly fish!! It burned and he said it was continually getting worse, and we both started to panic. I took a picute of the red swollen welt, but the flash washed it out. We got some vinegar at the front desk and surprisingly that took it right away! Like an instant cure!

Tonight we had dinner at Guisseppes Italian Resturant and the food was Awesome! Their bread was great- Jonathan even said it is the best bread he's had in his life! We wandered out to the courtyard and got some treats from "cafe de Paris" where they have the best little treats ever! They are all really rich in flavor, and so fancy looking. We stopped by here, oh about.... twice a day! :) We sat endulging in sugar and having tropical smoothies listening to the local talent play. The night entertainment then moved onto the the "Le Caberet Theatre" where they were having a dancing instuction with audience participation. I told Jonathan I'd like to go up and he said "heck no"! Luckily we were in a prime seat and they started begging people up because everyone was too shy. So they drug Jonathan up with me. Sadly he was the only guy, but a good sport. They showed us some of the local reggae dance moves and it was really fun. I wish I had a picture but my camera was back sitting at our table. Next the "children of the drums" played and during their show (which was crazy cool) they needed two audience members to help and of course the drummers came for Jonathan and then one other guy. This part Jonathan liked though because he got to learn to play their drums. (like the ones you seem held between your legs) He's got no rythmn but actually did really good and loved it.
