My cute Cupid Boy!

 Valentine's Day is also Noah's Birthday!  So always a big day at our house.  He was tickled to find the dinning room all decorated for Valentine's Day and a balloon & treat for each of them, and then the Kitchen was decorated for Birthday....JUST FOR HIM!

 He begged to open just a few presents before school, so I let him open 2. (which were books from scholastic I had ordered) He was excited for his 1st BIG chapter book "my life as a stunt boy" and a Lego ninjago book AND a MLK book that he specifically asked for!  LOL  (One day after school in January he came home & asked me to buy him a book about MLK. When I asked why, he said, "because he did a lot of good stuff mom and was important, and I want to learn more about him!)  :)

 At school, his class Valentines party is always HIS birthday party too!  How cool is that?!  Mya and I took in some treats and stayed a while to sing to him with his class.  He asked his teacher if he could pull up an extra chair so she could have food with him at the party.  He's such a good brother and just adores her!

He got to pass out his cookies & brownies to each classmate, the highlight of every birthday kid!

 

We had planned on a huge Celebration this day to honor Jonathan graduating from the Fire Academy, Noah turning 7 and my brother turning 30! But....well the academy has had some issues & Graduation was postponed the day before, pending an investigation. (*it should be back on, next Thursday)  Since it was cancelled, so was all our families coming into town to help celebrate.  As a back up we hit up the Aliante Buffet and had my brother Cliff come along for his Birthday! An hour & a 1/2 later, we were finally eating.  Got home after 9pm :( on a school night! and were all stuffed & tired.  But we couldn't call it quits without at least singing to them & blowing out the candles....even if we were all too full to have a piece.
