Carlaya's new Do

Right before I got MY hair butched; Carlaya had been asking to have her hair cut. I was hesitant because the last time we cut it short she had a fit everytime she wanted braids or ponytails & it wasn't long enough. But it is summer & it IS HOT......so I gave in. Plus short hair is so cute and so much easier than tangled long matted hair.
Its been about a month I just haven't had time to post it yet. I thought Jonathan would hate it, he's a long hair kinda guy- but he just keeps saying how much he likes it on her. He loves it! What do ya think? Cute eh?
**Did I mention, I cut it myself?! I love cutting hair. Kinda wish I would have done cosmetology, but not all the way. I would get too bored on my feet in one place all day! ;)

Noah: Mom, when our family is hiking in the jungle.....if we see a jaguar, Do you want me to fight it? I will fight it and kill it for us, ok Mom? I'm tough, do you know that? I can fight it all by myself!

Noah: Mom, do you see this hair on my arms?
Me: Yeah bud, cool.
Noah: Mom isn't it awesome?!!
Me: Um, sure I guess :)
Noah: Look at my arms, does it look real?
Me: Yes, Noah- your arms do look real.
Noah: (to Carlaya) Look at the hair on my arms!! Isn't that so cool Carlaya!
Carlaya: Noah, everyone has hair on their arms, even me.
(shot down.... )

Noah: Mom, do you like guns?
Me: Um, yeah I like guns. But I like shopping better than shooting.
Noah: If you like shopping, you DON'T like guns!

(while watching "Letters to God")
Noah: We can't mail letters to God!
Me: No, but we can pray to him, that's like a letter to him.
Noah: He's up in the sky? like, where the birds are?
Me: Not just in the clouds, far up there almost into outerspace, but he's sees us and hears everything we tell him.
Noah: Like by Planet 51?

Noah: What does the yellow light mean?
Me: Means you have to slow down cause the light will be red soon.
Carlaya: Then, why do YOU always speed up?!

While he's on the toilet, Noah asks me, "Mom, when I am 11, will I be in High School?" (so random!!) I respond, No. "Uh, will I be in High School when I am 16?"

After arguing with Noah longer than I'd like, I just said, "Noah, I'm sorry. I don't care." He was bugging me to death about something dumb and I finally said childishly, I don't care. I don't care. No one cares, Noah. No one cares. Then he screamed, "Ya-huh, Jesus Cares!!!"

(In the car, after chuch) Noah: Mom, who made us?
Me: Heavenly Father did.
Noah: He glued our heads on?

While looking at a handicap/womens bathroom sign, Carlaya says, "Look mom, that bathroom is for girls AND old people."
