Our trip to Arizona

The kids and I decided to brave the 6 hour trip to Snowflake, AZ to visit my sister Jenny & her family. It actually took us 6 1/2 - 7 hours with all our stops. But the kids did pretty good in the car and surprisingly, so did Mya. Here's a slide show of some of the fun things we did:

We went to visit and to celebrate Kensley's 1st birthday! She is just 2 months older than Mya. Benson is 3 years old and Tanner is 3 months older than Noah. So they kids had a blast, although there was a time or two that Carlaya wished another girl was around. The kids swam in the kiddie pool, took lots of wagon rides, watched movies, and we went to see the Snowflake Temple, went to Show Low, AZ (15 min away) to shop and play at Show Low Lake, dealt with my pinched nerve catastrophe for 2 whole days, and lastly checked out the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, AZ (20 min away) which is featured in the movie "Cars".
We had a blast and are grateful to Jenny & Andrew for being such awesome family to host us and feed us for 5 whole days! Thanks for letting us come! p.s. I forgive you for not having AC in your old house. ;) It was still worth the 840 miles I drove!
