It's official!

The TPR Hearing (termination of parental rights) we hoped for in March, was finally yesterday! Here's the email the case worker sent me last night.

Just thought I would let you know, everything went great today. Parental rights were terminated and now I am waiting for the orders from the court. She is officially free for adoptions.

This is Casey, Mya's caseworker. She is awesome and working hard to move things as fast as she can through the system. She'll have the official document from the TPR in 2-3 weeks, then she'll refer us to adoptions. From there unfortunately, we have 3-4 months at the soonest before Mya is OFFICIALLY Mya Camille Christensen. (Carlaya & I still like Claire, but Jonathan really likes "Camille") We're hoping by her 1st Birthday!
