Updates:

Mya Update:
I finally got the court date for Mya's parent's rights to be terminated. It was going to be in April, then they thought by March. Well the date is......MAY 23rd! Ugh. wat-wat-waaaa, such back log to deal with!
Our case worker is super awesome though and she is compiling the packet of all medical records and everything they need about Mya in order for an adoption to start. So right after she gets the termination papers (a few weeks after the actual hearing) she can submit everything to the adoptions department. A new case worker is then assigned, they mail us an application to fill out, we all 4 have to have physicals, and Jonathan & I both need fingerprints AGAIN. Then they do a whole other "home study" to see if we are a good adoptable adoption resource. She said if it moves fast and we are on the ball with what they ask, it should "only" be 3-4 months! Wat-wat-WAAAAA! (again) Oh well, on the bright side. By the time she's 1, she should be an official Christensen.

Jose Update:
Jose has an aunt that is willing to take all 6 siblings. It will take a few weeks to get her fingerprinted and background checked. In the meantime they aren't going to move him with his sister in another foster home, only to then move him again. So we'll likely have him through the end of March and then we'll see about a move. He's a great kid and we love having him, so no worries here.

Rap Update:
I asked one of my YW to record it and she totally forgot. Oh well. I kind of bombed it for us. We both had our lyrics memorized and did it like 10 times at home that afternoon for the kids. We were also both sick to our stomachs nervous!!! We had some flashy rap moves we were going to do also. Well we started off pretty good rapping together, then it was my solo. Oops, 3 lines in I totally had a major blank. Luckily I took up my paper just in case...but when I glanced down real quick, I couldn't find where I was at. Awkward forever of silence (at least it seemed to me) people laughed and I nervously muttered out, "Sorry, I'm nervous". LOL LOL DORKY!
I finished up, well sort of, I knew I was missing a line as I approached it but I didn't want to have to look at my paper again, so I skipped it and ended my rap turning it over to J-diddy! ;)
NO, it wasn't in Pioneer clothing, just regular. This was a stake activity just kicking off Youth Conference coming up. But still 100+ kids and probably 30-40 adults or more. We even had to be UP on the stage. UGH, I hate that feeling. Maybe I'll post the lyrics later.
Gotta run get finger printed for our re-licensing due next month.
