3 Months Old!

Mya speaks for all of us when she says, "Yay! I made it to three months!" And for a few reasons:

This is the longest we've had any foster child with the exception of Alexandra.
We've wanted to adopt since the beginning, so this is closer than we've been before. And the longest we've had to enjoy any of "our" babies. ;)

AND, most importantly: We've hit our 90 day mark with no parental contact. The case worker has submitted the paperwork for the TPR "Termination of Parental Rights"! Once her mother's rights are terminated, we can proceed with an adoption! (granted the TPR can take 2-4 months)

Mya is one happy girl. (and so are we!) She smiles so much now and so BIG too. It is really hard to catch on camera though. She'll smile all day long to me, but once I hold up the camera, she gets a totally confused face, unless I snap it quick. LOL

Things we LOVE about Mya:

*Her cute little voice that she is just learning to use. Coo's and Aaah's galore!

*Her pretty little fingers that are darling when painted ;) Daddy especially loves this!

*How she stretches SO much and so far. It is really quite cute!

*The way she still smacks her lips after eating (if she wants more)

*The way her dark eyes just sparkle when she is happy as can be!

*That she loves to snuggle up close. Daddy loves this!

*That she totally knows me (well all of us) and likes ME best! Despite the delusion Jonathan is living in. LOL

When I have been gone for a while and come home, she turns that head right to my voice and LIGHTS up! When I come over to talk to her, she goes nuts! She pretty much LOVES me! ;)

(side note: Jonathan's world was kind of crushed the other night when she proved my theory correct. She was totally fussy on his lap. I picked her up, she stopped. I laughed. He he he! Jonathan says, whatever. I give her back. She immediately starts to cry. I pick her up, she stops! Wooo-Ha Ha Ha Ha! Who' s the favorite NOW!?
