Over a year ago, we had our 2nd placement: 3 year old boy, Giovanni. He and Noah were best buds AND like two terrors! We have had only girls placements ever since. I haven't turned down any boys, just haven't been asked. (except monday night ;))
Once we decided we'd take a sibling pair or a baby and a toddler duo, we promised Noah that we'd get him a 2-3 year old brother. He's been asking for a "brover" for a long while now.
2 days ago, they called not with a placment but for respite. A 5 year old hispanic boy named Julio. Noah has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this new brother. Today was a long day waiting for Julio to arrive. He'll be with us till next Tuesday night. :) He was beaming when he came to the porch and saw Noah outside waiting for him. They've been in their bunk beds for over 1/2 hour now and I still hear them talking and giggling. Noah is in heaven!!
