Last day of School!!

After Kindergarten Graduation on Friday, they had a 3 day weekend due to Memorial day. So it was kind of pointless to even go back to school for 2 days on June 1st & 2nd. But we did. I knew it would be 2 play days of endless fun. Why not?

I took my camera on Tuesday to catch the memories of the last day of school. (Which was only 1/2 day and since kindergarten is already 1/2 day, it was like 1/4 day: 1 1/2 hours!) I was somewhat torn because Carlaya & Noah are both at school, but luckily their classrooms are just one apart. So I jumped back & forth to take some pictures.
Carlaya's Class: (28 kids)

Miss B let the kids pull out their fake money they'd been earning all year. They could buy a prize out of the treasure box with what they had left. Carlaya had $1.21! (Most kids only had .50-.75 left)

Noah's Class: (10 kids)

It was favorites day in Miss Bean's Class. They were singing their favorite songs with her and she read them their favorite books.

Lucky for me (again!) Both classes planned to spend the rest of the morning outside. Only kindergarten & preschool have recess together. So it was fun to be able to see both classes intermingle.

They pulled out the water tables, the stilts and some other outside games they had from field day (a few weeks ago). The kids were able to wear their swimsuits and basically just run a muck doing whatever their hearts desired!

Miss Bean always gives these spray bottles to her class at recess to cool each other off. They love to run around spraying kindergarteners (who are very annoyed by this), teachers and of course any parents within reach!

This is Noah with his favorite person in the whole wide world! Miss Bean! He'll miss her like crazy this summer. Even after 1 1/2 years in preschool- he has a whole other year with her before kindergarten! (each day of school- he'd run to her with open arms 1st things to give her the biggest hug ever! At night, he also asks, "Is Miss Bean having dinner too?", "Where does Miss Bean sleep?"...etc. He is obsessed with her!

Back in Carlayay's class after getting report cards.....one last HUGE hug from Miss B! We'll miss her this summer and next year as we go onto 1st GRADE!
