The Fun we had.....

In the 8 days we had with Giovanni, we did manage to pack a lot of fun into our week!
After dealing with his extreme energy on Friday, we decided we needed to have some fun to keep the kids busy and to wear them out. (or hope to)
Saturday, we went straight to the park to wear them out and keep them out of each others hair- since the "sibling" fights had already begun. From there, we went to Jonathan's brother- Travis's apartment to swim. The kids love to swim over there and Giovanni was thrilled. Of couse I put floaties on a 3 year old. But he surprised us when he jumped right in, face in the water and took off swimming! I was very impressed.

Noah stays close to a wall or to one of us, be he loves the water!

After non-stop swimming for over an hour, we figured (hoped) he'd sleep on the way home or at least nap after getting there. Nope! Amazingly he had plenty of energy to spare! :)
During the week, we went to see 2 movies at the Regal Family Film Festival- FREE MOVIES. Space Chimps & Madagascar 2! Giovanni said this was his 1st time at the movies! :)
Thursday, was our much anticipated- Annual night at the Circus! I bought our tickets (+1) back in April when they went on sale. We go every year and LOVE it. Last year we brought along our best friends and talked them into it again! Here we are crammed in the car going to meet them all for dinner!

Our own 3 ring Circus! (carlaya isn't crying, just has major sensitive eyes to a flash!)

Jonathan is man-handling the boys while waiting to be seated. Surprisingly, he handled the energy of all 3 kids really well and had even more patients than usual. He's been great with our plans to "foster".

Ok, so this isn't a great picture. Try getting a group of 17 to sit still and look at me. There were 10 different conversations going on and I waited till 1/2 way through the meal when kids were running off and moms chasing them. So pretty much Jonathan & Gio are the only ones looking at me.
We go with the Patricks, Knights, & Roes. They are our BEST FRIENDS from across town in our old ward!
Thanks guys for coming- WE LOVE YOU!

Strangely enough, I feel like I've lost a nephew I never even met. I hope the little guy's ok. Cute pictures. Maybe next year we'll join you at the circus. I'm really impressed with Jonathan as a foster dad--you go, Big Daddy! :-)
