We have inquired on a few children....

We still plan to keep fostering for the time being, but we have inquried on a few children off the adoption exchange website. I thought I'd let you know which children those are.
One local boy, whom we learned about at the Heart Gallery is Cyprus. He turned 5 in March, but is already in Kindergarten. So he'll be going into 1st grade. Here is his bio:

Here comes a bundle of energy! With his infectious laugh, Cyrus will have you grinning from ear and ear. The braces on his legs don't slow this little guy down a bit. If he had his way, every day would be Christmas and Halloween, and if you don't know what that would look like, he has some ideas! Celebrating his birthday is the best time of all. This caring, affectionate tyke prefers playing, coloring, or doing school work over watching television; when it comes to toys, bring on the LEGOs, balls, and Dora the Explorer! Cyrus attends kindergarten, and he participates in physical and speech therapies, as well as counseling, which may need to continue following placement. His caseworker will consider all family types, and is looking for parents who are willing to meet his developmental and medical needs.

I finally had email contact with his case worker this morning! I was able to find out more about the braces on his legs. They are to help strengthen leg muscles and he wears them only part time. Eventually he will have them removed and be fine!! That is what we were hoping to hear! A meeting will be held with his case worker and others on June 9th to discuss which families (that have inquired) will be a good fit for him. Then those chosen will be considered to move further with the very long process.

Next if Patrick & Zachary! These two cutie pie boys from Missouri caught my attention! Here is their bio:
These two brothers would like to grow up together! Zachary has a long list of positive qualities. This little guy is energetic, healthy, curious, inquisitive, strong-willed, and determined. Car rides are a lot of fun for this kiddo. He loves singing on trips. He is very protective of his little brother and likes to spend much of his time with him. When not playing with his brother or singing in the car, Zachary can be found watching movies, playing with cars, and reading stories. He is always satisfied with any activity that involves Spiderman or Superman. His favorite foods are hot dogs and bananas. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, Zachary responded by saying, "a Daddy." He is an all-around great person. The first thing you may notice about Patrick is his engaging smile; however, once you get to know this delightful toddler, you will soon find that his loving nature and expressive personality are what make this little boy so fun! Patrick loves to snuggle and also really enjoys being tickled. He already has a knack for organizing and is content and happy stacking blocks and putting puzzles and movies in order. His teachers at preschool report that Patrick is like a sponge and soaks up everything. He is a bright child who likes to stay on schedule, loves to play peek-a-boo, and does exceptionally well with his fine motor skills. These bonded brothers are looking for a forever family whom they can call their own, a loving and supportive home that will allow them to be together. We only accept inquiries on the entire sibling group, who will be placed together.

They both sound way cute and sweet, but I vote for the brothers. I think they sound like a perfect fit for your family!
