As long as they were warm, the kids were having fun. We proped up our colorful umbrella to keep the wind off their backs and keep the heat from the fire IN. Don't they look so bundled up?!! LOL
Noah and Lincoln haven't been around each other near as much as Carlaya & Jack. But they turned out to be little buddies anyway. They wandered around together and we even caught them (trying) to have a conversation with their own little jibber-jabber!
Carlaya and Jack were buddy/buddy as usual. They have been friends since.....pretty much birth! They played "family" and of course- Jack was daddy and Carlaya was Mommy. Carlaya was all over him and he kept calling her Honey! It was so cute. He'd say, "I'm off to work" and while he was pounding a tree with a hammer (working) we'd ask Carlaya what she was doing. Like what do mommy's do while daddy's are at work. She said, "I just drink my pop and then I'll take a nap". Oh wow! That makes me look bad!! LOL I almost never nap anymore because my kids don't and I don't sit around drinking pop during the day- that's for sure!! Lil' stinker!!
They sat singing the ABC's right here by the fire Forever!! They'd sing it 1/2 way and then throw in something random like "hammer" or "window" or "truck", then laugh histarically! For instance.... A,B, C, D, E, F, window....Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh, then start over again. Pretending they didn't know how to sing it right! LOL They sang away and giggled for well over an hour, bundled up in their lil' lawn chairs.
Here's our daddy's, Jonathan & Justin staying warm by the fire and trying to get warm coals going for dinner. We had so much fun camping! It was WAY to cold, but we managed and it was actually quite fun. The Patricks were our best friends in our old ward and we miss them all the time. So it was really nice to spend a couple days freezing together! :) We want to go again soon- well as soon as the 8,000 feet elevation gets warm!!

Ha Ha Ha, you know that is what you really do all day. Drink pop and take a nap. That made me seriously laugh out loud. The things that kids come up with.
