K well, lots has happened since the last Exciting post. We are yet to hear back on our Fast Elk house, which I love so much and hate to give up on. But the offer had to go to a bank and they are the ones holding things up. The home is in near forclosure so there is lots to be done before they can accept an offer. And after looking into the deal further our realtor found that short-sales (forclosures) can take even longer. So realistically it could be months before anything happens. Since our home is sold and now we only have like 2-3 weeks to be out (our current home's new loan has been delayed a couple weeks luckily for us, we now have somewhere to live) So we may have to be out the 6th or 13th of April. So WE NEED A NEW HOUSE NOW!! We can't wait months for Fast Elk. So Friday morning, before heading to L.A. for the weekend. Jonathan went out looking at some houses. WE found one we both really like and decided to put an offer in. Like normal houses for sale, we heard back saturday morning 1st thing and the house is sold! And we got it for 5,000 less than they were asking, and it had only been on the market 1 week. Our new address is 9012 Meisenheimer Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89143. It is a really nice home that has really been taken care of. Nice custom paint throughout and a bigger yard than Fast Elk and Completely landscaped!! You can't argue that. So we are looking at a move in date of April 20th!! Yipee! I am meeting Jonathan and our realtor out at the house today for the home inspection at 2pm. I am taking my camera and I'll take lots of pics and have them posted tonight or tomarrow. Ta Ta! Camille
