So I took Carlaya and Noah to the dentist on friday for their 1st trip! For Carlaya it was just a check up- her 1st, but Noah was there to see what can be done for his tooth. Unfortunatley they can't even do x-ray's unless he is 2 years old. They said it looks fine and no nerve damage or otherwise. (although right at the break point it looks a little yellow already) I just hope the tooth doesn't turn grey- and fall out even. From what the dentist says we should be ok though.
Carlaya on the other had had quite the tramatizing experience. We talked about the dentist all week- about what to expect and what she'd have to do and so forth. I thought I had her all prepared. But she practically screamed bloody murder as they tried to look inside her mouth and Jonathan had to hold her down. At 1st they cleaned her teeth and she didn't like it and even cried a little but was ok. Then they tried to do some x-rays, which scared her a little bit. They only got the front top/bottom view because she has my insane gag reflex and she couldn't even hold the other one in her cheek. I think she thought she was done and then when the Dr. wanted to take a look around - she really put up a fight. She was screaming so ridiculously it sounded so horrific, all I could do what laugh.............hysterically. But her poor brother Noah got kinda worked up seeing her "tortured" and all. Basically it was a blast! LOL LOL LOL

so Noah just has to walk around witha chipped tooth for the next couple of years? Yeah I suggest growing his mullet, now is his time to shine!
That is too funny. We work so hard with our kids preparing them for these kind of things sometimes I wonder WHY??? The outcome probably would have been the same.
